Over the course of this key stage, we aim to develop the children's independence, whilst introducing them to the more formal curriculum of daily phonics (Essential Letters and Sounds), handwriting through our Kinetic Letters programme, English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and Mathematics. We do this through a range of exciting topics which develop their learning and stimulate the children's interest. All of our topics are cross-curricular and teach the children skills, knowledge and vocabulary, providing opportunity to learn through practical experiences, the arts, computing and science.
