School Trips & Events

We aim to provide the pupils with trips and events relevant to the topics being covered in class.  We also like to take the pupils on walks in the local area or visit to a local church, again to support what is being learnt through the curriculum.

Letters will be sent out or communication added to Tapestry to inform parents about any events or trips and there may be times when we require parent volunteers to help with adult to pupil ratios.

In the past our pupils have been on whole day outings to Marwell Zoo, Legoland, Wellington Country Park, London and the Watercress Line.  In this instance we will send letters to parents regarding the planned day trip and ask for a contribution towards the cost of entry fees and coach hire.

Trips and events can be paid for by cash, cheque (made payable to Manor Infant School) or by using our online payment service.  Any payments sent to school MUST be in an envelope clearly marked with the child's name and class and name of event.  Please hand these directly to the class teacher at the door or bring them to the school office, staff are unable to check the children's bags on a daily basis.  Whole day outings will require a permission slip completed, so please ensure this is returned to the school ASAP, even if you have paid online, we need that slip!

To access our online payments system please follow the link below or click on the 'online payments' signpost on the home page under the calendar. If you haven't used this service before, please contact the school office to get an 'online access letter' which will supply  you with a unique access code for your child. Details of how to use this service can be found in the user instructions document.
